Reviewing Freedom.

FAQ

What are the basic requirements for programs to appear on OS Reviews?

The most important requirement is that the program is Free Software. It must be distributed under either a OSI-approved or a DFSG-compatible license. Furthermore, it must not depend on non-free software. Of course, a program has to be relevant to our audience and show a certain degree of innovation.

I wrote a review of $BAR! Will you post it?

I'd like to write a review. What shall I do?

Great! We are always happy to find people wishing to promote the use of Free Software through our site. Write a mail to proposals@osreviews.net containing a description of the program and a few sentences on your writing experience and your experience with the program and software in general.
